Summary
Step-by-step instructions for logging onto Canvas for the first time.
Step 1: Open your favorite web browser and navigate to scc.spokane.edu or sfcc.spokane.edu, select the Student Tools drop-down menu, and select ctcLink.
Step 2: You will then be re-directed to ctcLink.spokane.edu. Sign-in with your ctcLink ID and Password.
Step 3: Once signed in and on the ctclink Gateway landing page please select Canvas from the options on the left-hand side of the screen.
Step 4: You will see a popup with links to any State of Washington Community and Technical College’s Canvas link. For SCC or SFCC please select Community College of Spokane. If you see multiples both will take you to the correct location.
Step 5: You should then be automatically logged onto Canvas and directed to your Dashboard.
You could also open your favorite web browser and navigate to scc.spokane.edu or sfcc.spokane.edu, select the Student Tools drop-down menu, and select Canvas.
You will then be prompted with the ctcLink login process and must log on and go through the account verification.
Hint: To avoid having to verify multiple times throughout the day, please select the “Keep me signed in” option when logging onto Canvas and ctcLink.
