Steps to take to activate your ctcLink account


Step 1: Open your favorite web browser and navigate to scc.spokane.edu or sfcc.spokane.edu, select the Student Tools drop-down menu, and select ctcLink. 

Hint: Please note that ctcLink is not fully compatible with Safari. While you may be able to log in, certain features may not function as expected.


Step 2: You will then be re-directed to ctcLink.spokane.edu. To activate your account select the Activate Your Account link at the bottom of the page.

 


Step 3: You will be warned that you are being redirected to the PeopleSoft Activate Your Account page. Just select okay. 


Step 4: You will be prompted to enter your first and last name, date of birth, and ctcLink ID.


Hint: Please use the MM/DD/YYYY format for your date of birth. If you do not include the slashes, the system will automatically add them as you tab to the next field. 

When the fields have been filled out, please use the submit button to proceed. 


Step 5: On the next page, you will be asked to provide your email address, phone number, and password. The email address and phone number are used for verification during login, so make sure to use accounts and numbers that you can easily access. 

Hint: Pay attention to the password requirements, and make sure that you are manually typing a password into the fields instead of using whatever is auto-filled.


Step 6: Once the account has been successfully activated you will receive the following message:  


Step 7: Close the browser, then reopen it and go to either scc.spokane.edu or sfcc.spokane.edu. From there, open the Student Tools drop-down menu and select ctcLink. Log in using your ctcLink ID number and the password you created during the activation process. 

Hint: To avoid having to verify multiple times throughout the day, please select the “Keep me signed in” option when logging onto Canvas and ctcLink.
