Step-by-step guide on logging into your Bigfoot email and Microsoft 365 account, including setting up recovery/verification methods.


Step 1: locate your Bigfoot Email address and password initially sent out to students using the preferred email within ctclink. The email might be in your junk or spam folder and will come in from Student-Accounts@ccs.spokane.edu, with the Subject of CCS Student Network Account.

  You can use your Bigfoot account for the following: 

  1. Accessing your Bigfoot email
  2. Logging in to college-owned student equipment
  3. Accessing the campus WiFi network (CCS Net)
  4. Accessing the library databases 
  5. Purchasing parking passes via NuPark 
  6. Accessing Zoom

  Please Note the following:

  1. You should be able to access your mailbox in Microsoft 365 within two hours of receipt of this email.
  2. Once you are registered for classes, additional Microsoft 365 applications will become available to you.

If you need additional assistance logging into your Bigfoot network account please contact the IT Support Center at 509-533-4357 option 2 or at ITSupportCenter@ccs.spokane.edu.

 

Hint: If you can’t locate this email, please call the IT Support Center at 509-533-4357 option 2 during our current hours of Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM. We will perform an identity verification process before assisting with locating the account and resetting the password. We don’t have access to these initial emails and can’t resend them. 


Step 2: Open your preferred web browser and navigate to scc.spokane.edu or sfcc.spokane.edu, select the Student Tools, and then Office 365/Email.


 


Step 3: This link should navigate to office.com, where you will then select Sign in. 

TIP: If you log on to an SCC/SFCC Student Computer that is onsite with your Bigfoot Account and use Edge you will not have to do anything beyond this point. If off-site, please continue with the following instructions. 


Step 4: The following screen will ask for your Bigfoot email address, you will type in your full Bigfoot Email address and then select Next. 




Step 5: The following page will ask for the Bigfoot account password. Once the account password has been typed in select the Sign in button. 



 


Step 6: If everything was entered correctly then students logging on for the first time will be prompted with the following screen stating that more information is required. Please select Next. 



Step 7: The following page will ask users to set up recovery/verification methods for the account. We suggest the use of a cellular number that the student will have access to when trying to log on to the site. Whatever option the student chooses to setup they need to have access to during the process, and if they would like to avoid this step please select Skip setup. 

Hint: Students could also select the I want to set up a different method option and select other options for verification. 

 


Step 8: While setting up this verification method you will be prompted to run through a test, the following are screenshots of this process. 






Step 9:  Every time you sign in on a new device and web browser you will be prompted with the following screen to reduce the number of times you are asked to sign in. Feel free to select Yes unless this is a shared account or KIOSK device. 


 

Step 10: Once successfully logged on you will be taken to a screen that looks like the image below: 


Step 11: To access the email inbox, select the Outlook option on the left-hand side of the screen. 



 


Step 12: When you select the Outlook option, you will be taken to your inbox, and it will look like the below image.
